De Texelse golf course is a link course, often compared to the traditional courses in Scotland and Ireland. It is one of the few dune courses in the Netherlands with a characteristic rough nature. The ever-present wind creates an extra difficulty factor, making the course unpredictable and thus particularly attractive.
