The golf shop of De Texelse offers a huge range of golf clubs, balls, clothing, shoes and various accessories, topped with excellent service. You can visit the shop when the golf course is open.

The name of the clubhouse shares its origins with that of nearby nature reserve Hanenplas. Both names are derived from the Dutch word haan or heen, an old name for sea club-rush. This type of grass can be found in wet nutrient-rich soil at waterfronts, in ditches and in salt marshes.
